My goal for this year is to read at least one new book each month. I’ve always loved reading but I do find myself going through phases of reading everyday and not reading for weeks on end. By setting a goal of reading one new book a month for an entire year, I’m hoping it will get me into a regular habit of reading.
This lockdown, I think we all deserve to really relax and look after our mental health. I’m going to be taking long bubble baths, reading, drinking lots of coffee and bingeing so many new Netflix shows over the next few weeks and probably rewatching some of my favourites.
I’ve come up with a list of 5 of my favourite shows on Netflix. There’s a bit of everything for everyone so whether you like comedy or if you prefer supernatural shows, I’ve got you covered. So grab some popcorn, a cup of tea and get ready to binge some telly.
This post is inspired by a YouTube video posted by one of my favourite influencers Sam Ozkural. In her video she shares 5 habits she’s giving up in 2021 and I was really inspired by her video. One of her habits she wants to leave in 2020 is living in the future. She talks about how goal oriented she is and sometimes she is so focused on those goals that she forgets to live now. I think that’s a great habit to break because I know a lot of people including myself think like that and then we miss out on the present.
For the last couple of years, I’ve been on a healthy hair journey. I’ve always wanted long, healthy and shiny hair but I’ve never had it. I’ve always ended up chopping my hair into a bob or a long bob because my hair was either really damaged or I got bored of trying to grow it out.
I don’t do well with the cold weather and I swear I complain about being cold every second of winter. I’ve bought so many things over the years that help me survive the long winter months and the freezing cold weather and to make it more bearable.
